Will require exceptional customer service skills, demonstrated animal handling with a willingness to learn about fear free. Candidates must demonstrate proficient technical skills, a positive can-do attitude and work well in a team. Good communication skills as well as experience in a practice setting for at least 1 year required. Responsibilities include client education, radiography, lab work, experienced phlebotomy, assisting/monitoring surgical procedures, and performing dental work. Eastside Animal Hospital is currently seeking a full time Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team. We are a small but growing single doctor practice that strongly values having a personal connection with our clients. Our practice is small animal focused, we see dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, and other small exotics. Here we perform general wellness care, dentistry with full mouth radiographs, soft tissues surgery, orthopedic surgery, and more.
 

Requirements are, but not limited to, being a Licensed Veterinary Technician in the state of Michigan. Previous experience is preferred but not required. Experience with dental procedures, orthopedic procedures, cornerstone, and idexx lab equipment is a plus.
