Creekside Animal Hospital is seeking an LVT full time or part time work. Our technicians fully utilize their knowledge and skills in a fun, team based environment. Full time technicians work 4 week days with a regular scheduled day off, and every other Saturday. Madison Veterinary Hospital is seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, professional Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team. The position is for a full-time LVT with a work week ranging from 32-40 hours and would include a variety of days, nights, weekends and holidays. Expectations will include dentistry, anesthesia, surgical assistance, phlebotomy, placing intraveneous catheters, obtaining patient history, minor lab work, radiology, as well as educating clients on subjects relating to their pet's well-being. Our instructors make a positive impact, in a flexible environment while working with animals. Veterinary Assistant Instructors use their training and practical experience from clinical and/or administrative duties to teach Ross Veterinary Assistant students what they need to succeed in the veterinary field. What are the main activities of this job? Primary Instructors teach in the Veterinary Assisting classroom a maximum of 12 students, covering clinical skills and administrative skills. The veterinary assistant classroom is "hands-on" with small animals in the lab, and sometimes field trips. Class sessions are 6 hours, week days only. Training and support provided in delivering standardized curriculum. This is a part-time position, typically 24-29 hours per week, day and evening schedules available.
