Are you looking for an opportunity to change the world, one animal at a time? Our LVTs provide exceptional veterinary medical care to our clients, while making a difference for the animals and families within our communities. Our clinics offer full-service veterinary care using state of the art equipment, including ultrasound, high speed dental, digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray and cautery.
The LVT provides veterinarians with direct support through various technical and nursing skills including administering and monitoring anesthesia, treating outpatient and hospitalized animals as well as performing dentals, laboratory tests, and radiographs. The vet tech assists the public in all aspects of MHS programs, including educating the public about animal welfare and helping them make appropriate decisions regarding care for their animals.
Requirements:
§ Previous training and experience in veterinary field
§ Must be licensed by the State of Michigan in veterinary technology.
§ Must be educated in microscopy and radiation safety standards
